Fueling Oklahoma’s Future: Jiffy Lube of Oklahoma and the OSSAA

We're thrilled to announce that Jiffy Lube of Oklahoma is the Official Oil Change Partner of the Oklahoma High School Activities Association (OSSAA)! This partnership is about more than just motor oil; it's about investing in the future of Oklahoma’s young people.

The mission of the OSSAA is to serve member schools by providing leadership and state coordination for the conduct of interscholastic activities, which will enrich the educational experiences of high school students. 

The OSSAA will work to promote interschool activities that provide equitable participation opportunities, positive recognition and learning experiences to students, while enhancing the achievement of educational goals.

Why the OSSAA Matters
Think about the roar of the crowd at a state championship game, the focus of a student during a debate, or the dedication of a marching band. The OSSAA makes these experiences possible. They provide:

• Life Skills Development: Fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-discipline through athletics and activities.
• Community Building: Strengthening the fabric of Oklahoma communities by bringing people together.
• Diverse Opportunities: 482 public and private schools are members of the OSSAA. 

The OSSAA’s Vital Role
The OSSAA goes beyond just organizing games. They are the driving force behind:

• State Championships: Coordinating all Oklahoma High School Playoffs, Tournaments, and Championships.
• Governance and Regulation: Serving as the non-profit governing body for high school athletics and activities.
• Member Support: Working with schools to establish rules, procedures, health initiatives, and special programs.
• Oversight and Training: Managing officials/referees, middle school athletics, coaches, and student-athletes.
