Free Catalytic Converter Engrave & Stripe Service

Jiffy Lube of Tulsa offers a free catalytic converter engrave & stripe service to help deter theft and and support vehicle safety.  

Catalytic converter theft is increasing exponentially in Tulsa.  Thieves will cut easily assessable “cats” off the underside of vehicles.  Often, victims won’t realize until later.

Jiffy Lube is offering this service, at no charge.  A Jiffy Lube technician will first paint a stripe in a bright, high temp paint on the catalytic converter.  Then, they will engrave your vehicle’s full VIN over the paint stripe.  The hope is that this will deter thieves from stealing your catalytic converter as it will be easier to track them and help law enforcement to prosecute.
