The “What Drives You?” scholarship program funded by Jiffy Lube Tulsa owners has awarded $6,000 in scholarships to three Tulsa area high school students for the 2019-2020 school year.
Grace Lam of Union High School is the overall scholarship recipient and will receive a $4,000 scholarship award on behalf of Jiffy Lube. Andrew Isaac of Jenks High and Jacob Parks of Broken Arrow Freshman Academy will each be awarded $1,000 as runners-up.
Jiffy Lube Tulsa will also donate $500 to the Tulsa area high school with the most student applicants. For the 2019-2020 school year, Union High School submitted the most essays.
The “What Drives You?” scholarship program is open to all high school students in the greater Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, & Glenpool areas, regardless of test scores or grades.
Jiffy Lube’s local owners understand how important it is for communities to come together during this time. Jiffy Lube is now accepting essays for the 2020-2021 school year, and has added an additional $1,000 scholarship award as an added incentive and support for students.
